Samsung delivers timely updates. It’s just July 29, but Samsung has already started rolling out the August 2022 security upgrades. Android Police reports that Samsung Galaxy S20, S21, and S22 customers in Germany have received the update. Soon, more markets will get updates.

Samsung Galaxy S22
Version S90xBXXU2AVG6 is for Exynos 2200-powered European Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra models. The incremental update package is 400MB, indicating additional under-the-hood modifications besides the new SPL. Russia, Georgia, and other European nations are launching the new build.

Samsung Galaxy S20
August 2022 security update for Galaxy S20 is G98xxXXUEFVG5. Again, Exynos LTE and 5G devices are the first to get the latest version, starting in Germany.
Samsung may have “beaten” Google in their own game, but Google always waits until the bulletin is public before rolling out the update. Google shares security bulletin data with OEMs like Samsung a month or more in advance to allow them time to integrate the updates. Samsung has been good at releasing security fixes on schedule, often before the new month.
